Bartek Wolyniec (born 1990) is a young Polish vocalist, musician and songwriter. He started his career at the age of 8 when his mom bought him his first classical guitar. Six years later he got himself a proper bass guitar and joined some local punk bands.
Punk rock was not enough for the young talent. The more music he listened to, the more he got fascinated by funk and jazz. So he started attending the musical school courses - they didn't like his attitude though and threw him out. He's a self-thaught multi instrumentalist: pianist, guitarist, bass guitarist, double bass player and a drummer. He says he started to play music because he was too short to be a goalkeeper (171cm). His unusual vocal range is quite impressive, 4 octaves (with falsetto). Being still very young and very passionate about music, Bartek may soon become one of the key figures in Polish music.
